Not sure yet where this website is going; it will evolve as my life moves forward.
You are welcome to stay and follow my random thoughts…
On 30th September 2000, I flew into Heathrow Airport on an Emirates flight with a suitcase full of clothes, music cassettes, books, etc., a heart full of love and hope, and a mind overflowing with dreams, ideas, and plans.
There was sadness at leaving behind people, places, and experiences that had been my life until then. There was some nervousness about what my new life would be like, but there was such excitement for a new adventure with someone who made me happy, who made me feel safe and made me feel fearless.
That was 24 years ago. A lot has happened in that time… most of it wonderful. And if circumstances decided things were not wonderful, the dreamteam dealt with it together. Until it didn’t.
Anyway, you can’t change the past. The good bits and the bad bits happened. That is how life works.
24 years ago there was sdsa.co.uk; now it is just shaliniinstamford.co.uk. Let’s see how it pans out… I still have a million dreams, but perhaps not many plans yet.
What I also have is friendship, from amazing friends who care and who have given me a chance to breathe while I find that fearless girl who loved to laugh, loved to dance, and dared to take a chance because her heart said she should.
