What an amazing lady! I feel I have made a good friend today. Some encounters, especially the ones that happen at the Arts Centre, are just meant to be I think.
We could have talked for hours. Well… I would have talked for hours and she would have listened, and heard what I was saying.
She saw me. Not just the person everyone everyone sees, the public face of Shalini. She saw what’s inside… desperate to feel again, desperate to live again. Yet scared to.
I feel content.
